Comtech, Design Print and Mail LLC Privacy Statement

This privacy policy applies to Comtech, Design Print and Mail LLC (“Comtech”). This privacy policy describes how Comtech uses the personal information you provide and describes the choices available to you regarding our use of personal information and how you can access and update this information.

The use of information within Comtech systems shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service(s) for which the client has engaged Comtech.

Information Collection and Use Information Collection

Comtech collects no personally identifiable information (PII) or protected health information (PHI) from any source.


In order to use Comtech services, a client must first complete the new customer process. This process will require clients to give professional and personal contact information (such as name, shipping address and email address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date, etc.). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer orders. If Comtech has trouble processing an order, the information is used to contact the client.

Information Use

The use of information within Comtech systems shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service(s) for which the client has engaged Comtech.

Comtech will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that Comtech no longer use your information to provide you services contact us at Comtech will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

All client financial information, PHI or PII residing within Comtech’s secure processing controls will be maintained and stored according to our stated security and privacy policies. Comtech takes no responsibility for client financial information, PII or PHI when this data is not within Comtech’s sole control.


Comtech stores information specifically given to us by our clients through the new customer process and/or the account edit process. A client profile is stored information that provides the company with information describing the client. All such collected information is used only for the conduct of the provisions of our service(s).

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

Comtech does not employ the use of technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags, pixels and scripts. However, Comtech does utilize Google Analytics, when the contact form on our web is used to contact us. The Google Privacy Policy can be found at

Information Collected by our Clients

Comtech purchases or receives information under the direction of its clients, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. If you are a customer of one of our clients and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our clients that use our service(s), please contact the client that you interact with directly. Comtech may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service(s). Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the service agreements with our clients.

An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to Comtech’s client (the data controller).

Comtech will retain personal data we process on behalf of our clients for as long as needed to provide services to our client. Comtech will retain this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Communication with Clients


Comtech sends all new clients a welcome email. Comtech will, from time to time, send email notifications, mail or call you to provide you with information concerning updates or enhancements to our services. The communications can be promotional in nature as they are related to the use of our service.

Customer Service

Comtech communicates with clients on a regular basis to provide requested services, and in regard to issues relating to their account, we reply via email or phone in accordance with the clients’ wishes.

Service Related Announcements

Comtech will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, Comtech might send you an email.


Comtech does not share or sell your personally identifiable information with any third parties, only in the ways that are described in this privacy policy.

Legal Disclaimer

Though Comtech makes every effort to preserve client privacy, we may need to disclose personally identifiable information when required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, bankruptcy proceedings, or similar legal process when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable)

Comtech does not share aggregated demographic information with our partners and or advertisers.

Third Party Intermediaries

Comtech uses an outside credit card processing company, Heartland Payment Systems, to bill clients for services. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

Business Transitions

In the event Comtech goes through a business transition, such as a merger, is acquired by another company, or sells a portion of its assets, clients' personally identifiable information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. Clients will be notified via prominent notice on our website 30 days prior to a change of ownership or control of their personally identifiable information. If as a result of the business transition, the clients' personally identifiable information will be used in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection they will be given choice consistent with our notification of changes prior to the information being used for the new purposes.


Comtech takes every precaution to protect our clients' information.

While Comtech utilizes encryption to protect sensitive information, we also do everything in our power to protect client information offline. All of our clients' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to client information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up to date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter and any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance Comtech places on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our clients' information is protected. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment. However, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, Comtech cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Supplementation of Information

Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personally Identifiable Information

If a clients’ personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code, phone, e-mail or postal address), or if a client no longer desires our service, Comtech provides a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate clients' personally identifiable information. Comtech displays personal testimonials of satisfied customers on our website in addition to other endorsements. With your consent Comtech may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at

Our site mayincludeslinks to other websites whose privacy practices may differ from those of Comtech. If you submit personally identifiable information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. Notification of Changes

If, however, Comtech uses a clients' personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify clients via transactional email prior to the change becoming effective. Clients will have a choice as to whether or not Comtech uses their information in this different manner. However, if clients have opted out of all communication with Comtech through deactivating their account, then they will not be contacted, nor will their personally identifiable information be used in this new manner. In addition, if Comtech makes any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect client information already stored in our system, we will post a prominent notice on our website prior to the changes taking effect. In some cases where Comtech posts a notice we will also email clients who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.
